iWebTool Creates a Directory List

October 24th, 2007 by Mack

To my shock, I find that iWebTool has created their own directory list that allows regular (free) and commercial (paid) listings. To list a commercial directory it cost $49.99 (one time fee) and FREE for those free directories.

iwebTool Submit page

It has a few options that you can select showing what your directory offers (ie free, free with reciprocal, paid).

Submit Page 2

On the last page, you can even submit a logo image with dimensions up to 150 width x 30 height.

Then end result looks something like this

Saw your blog post at DP, and I decided to comment ;) iwebtool has launched other good services in the past (along with bad), hope this one pulls it off.

Yeah, I totally agree. It is surely too soon to tell if it is worth the $49.99 they want to charge for paid directories, but if you have a free directory I see no reason not to try it out. I hope to give a more in depth look in a couple of weeks like traffic etc.

    Comment much appreciated.

A “list of directories” is hardly an original idea. I wouldn’t pay $49 to be included in such a list. I doubt the traffic will be worth it.

I don’t mind paying $49 to test it out. I have paid much more for directory listings and the only thing that is true in this factor is time.
