It will be interesting to see how they handle sites where each subdomain is used by a different person...and how any changes affect those sites. Will Blogger and WordPress.com be able to produce income if they lose their pro bloggers? I can't see it hurting sites like StumbleUpon much, since they have a lot more to offer than PageRank.

The more I read about everything Google is doing right now in regards to page rank, the more it sounds like the last gasps of a dying T. Rex. It was king once, but now there are too many other ranking systems out there that I can use, and they don't try to tell me what I can and can't do...and don't take their ball and run home if I don't play exactly like they want me to.

I don't think this change will impact your index speed/rate, but maybe for instance if they don't do it correctly it might only show 2 results that contain .blogspot.com. That would be a disaster.

Our blogger posts have been being indexed with FIVE minutes by Google. Not sure if they love us, because they own it (and we use feedburner), because I really don't spam??!! .... but seriously thinking of writing a new template and leaving it there!

PS: Thanks for your past Sphinns :)
