Lobo Links Goes Green with Solar Powered Hosting !
October 13th, 2008Lobo Links in an effort to reduce its carbon footprint has decided to switch hosting providers, we now use solar powered hosting with our new green hosting provider, iMountain.
iMountain is an environmentally conscious green webhosting provider, and they specialize in Clustered and Load Balanced Hosting solutions. So you will now notice near instant page loads from the powerful clustered solution Lobo Links is now hosted on.
I have used iMountain in the past and found them to be a very helpful hosting provider with excellent uptime and first rate support, and if you get “Digged” or “Stumbled” they will make sure every last visitor gets to your site.
These guys are really good for websites and the environment, and with a choice of plans to suit every budget there is something for every webmaster.

I recently learned Hostgator was going green as well, so I’m happy

It has been over six months since you changed over to iMountain and would like to know if things are still going well for you?
I had some issues with my ISP where I was co-located. They just kept raising the electric bill, till it was out of control.
Had to find something else and had to ship the servers out of state. The rates are good, and so far it is working for me. However, always need to keep my eyes open for a better deal and better service.

Their service has been generally quite reliable. One thing that I would prefer is if they could have live chat or real-time support. That would help out a bit more if we wanted some quick answers to questions.
