It's appealing to me for several reasons but one strong one is that the majority of IM gurus have not caught on yet. They are not interested in "the conversation" but rather in trying to just tell people what to think. I think its very powerful that I can post a blog and then tweet it for instant traffic because Twitterers, even though they have presences in so many other venues, see Twitter differently and so respond differently. Rather than going to an email box to get info... and from gosh knows who... they are being SERVED their Tweets by people they've chosen to follow. It's an instant hit of blog traffic for any article you write or anything you want people to see... very powerful indeed.
